Encounter with God: A Personal Testimony

The MGLs have had a huge impact on my life, and also on my family. They have taught me so much about serving others and what it really means to live out my faith and 'bring the love of God to others'. 

I have had the chance to be involved in different activities which opened the door to helping with community outreach and serving in various ministries such as Alpha and working with young people. 

All of the MGLs have a warmth, and display kindness and passion for giving that is evidently inspired by Christ's love. I love the way they connect with our community and encourage us all to live out our faith. I feel like my life has really changed because I am now integrating my faith in Christ into my everyday life. I am intentional about  having a prayer life, building friendships in faith, going to adoration, and talking to others about Jesus.

The support and guidance I received from the MGL’s has had a huge impact on my life. They have helped me to see how much God loves us. I genuinely want to go to church now, live out my faith, and share this experience with others.  There is such a peace that comes from knowing Jesus personally, and that personal encounter serves as a foundation for everything I do in life.

One time in particular that the MGL’s were the instruments God used in my life was during Summer School earlier this year. It was an incredibly powerful experience where I truly encountered God's love and presence. 

Fr. Josh praying with me and guiding me during the retreat really helped me connect deeply with my faith. I remember feeling an incredible sense of peace, which inspired me to dive deeper into what God was revealing to me at that moment. The experience really solidified my desire to live out my faith and share that love with others. 

It was a significant turning point for me!
