On 29th October 2023, the community of St Benedict’s Parish Manila celebrated the historic Solemn Rite of Consecration and Dedication of the Church and Altar by Bishop Roberto O. Gaa of the Diocese of Novaliches. The church reconstruction was initially supervised by Fr Steve Tynan MGL and Fr Rey Tano MGL as the new Parish Priest. A memorable celebration of stories of faith and encouragement to parishioners of the importance of the physical church and the altar in the life of our liturgical celebrations.
In October, Fr Donn Entienza MGL and Br Buddika Jayawardena MGL together with brothers in formation conducted a Mercy Night at Nuestra Señora de Salvacion Chapel. It was a night of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, an input on healing and praying over for the sick. This chapel is located at the poorer area of St Benedict’s Parish at Quezon City, where people struggle for accessible healthcare.
