MISSIONARIES OF GOD'S LOVE

This Easter, the communities of St Martin de Porres Aboriginal Catholic Community and Holy Spirit Parish brought Art in Action to life, proclaiming the Gospel message through art. From a painted Easter candle symbolising hope, to a striking crown of thorns installation, local artists used their God-given gifts to help others encounter Christ’s love. Through prayer and creativity, they revealed the beauty and power of the resurrection.

In correctional facilities, many felt loved and cared for, finding deep connection through prayer and shared stories of faith during visits.

Recently Fr Dan Benedetti and Br Veko had a few days at Nauyu Community (also known as Daly River: famous for Barramundi fishing!)
