Indonesia Mission Forges Ahead

Updated: Mar 29

In Maumere, Indonesia, three brothers will be doing a pre-novitiate program this year, with talks provided from Canberra. Another six have started studies in the Ledelero Seminary University program. Others are still at the aspirancy stage. Three levels of formation is challenging, but gaining the help from Australia will make it possible. Meanwhile the mission continues especially in the Universities. This year they are reaching into the Muhammadiyah University which is Islamic, but very open to us working with their Catholic students and any Muslims who may wish to participate. The brothers, with help from a charismatic community in Jakarta, are conducting a weekend for 250 young students, leading them into the experience of the baptism in the Spirit.
