Youth Discipleship Training|Everett Fritz Inspires Sydney Parishes

We were privileged to have international speaker and youth Discipleship training ministry expert Everett Fritz, the founder and director of Andrew Ministries, present in our Sydney mission over a few days in May. Everett has had great success in pioneering small group youth ministry in his home country of the United States. He was able to spend an afternoon training and encouraging the 17 youth leaders in Penshurst and Oatley parishes, as well as spending time with Fr Josh and Louisa who lead youth ministry in the parishes.

He also spent time breaking open and exploring how discipleship in youth ministry can have a broader impact on our parishes and our mission together. We’ve already started to see some wonderful fruit from Everett’s time with us and how we engage in youth ministry, and were buoyed by his encouragement and the inspiration he felt from seeing how we’ve been moving forward in youth ministry across our Mission.
